What do the letters stand for next to a driver’s name on the entry sheet in WRC2? Yes, the three fastest drivers on the final stage of the weekend will score three, two and one points towards their overall championship standing. Their five best European scores and the long-haul rally will determine their final standing. Teams can enter up to six rallies in Europe and one long-haul event. A team can nominate two drivers per rally to score. Some drivers competing in WRC2 will also be scoring points for teams, such as Toksport and Saintéloc Racing. ![]() Drivers such as Freddy Loix are eligible for the WRC2 Masters Cup as well WRC2 honours How does the WRC2 Teams’ Championship work? At the other end of the spectrum, drivers and co-drivers over the age of 50 are eligible for the WRC Masters Cup. Everyone else has had at least one really where they crashed or had car problems that caused them to freefall in the rally standings. This most consistent driver has been Elfyn Evans and he got 10th at Kenya last weekend. Just looking at the standings right now, Ogier looks unstoppable sure, but he crashed out and got 20th in the Arctic Rally this year. I know I complain about it all the time, as this is an issue in Dirt Rally 2.0 as well once you get to Elite difficulty, but no driver on the planet consistently finishes in the top 2 or 3 like they do in WRC 9 Career mode. I think the key is having more consistent AI on the stages, as well as it being possible for some drivers to crash out maybe some sort of overall rating for each driver that heightens or lowers their probability of crashing out, retiring, or making mistakes. I would personally just leave these at an average level or the lowest of your chosen level! To add the only thing that maybe would be hard to control is the numerous extra events like training and tests. I would advise setting your best AI level for Sweden where you can get top 3, then scale down other countries from that. I will continue to note these down, maybe to serve as a base for anyone else that wants to adjust the AI on the fly for each country. Germany is an awful example of this where the AI can be 10s seconds difference between it's two smaller stages. ![]() I did notice frustratingly that there's some events that aren't consistent with ai even in the same country. I'm on pad ps5 now, coming from pc sim racing with wheels etc and I would call my self a above average driver on Sims. What I feel pushing and not crashing will give me the win or at least top 3. I'm actually starting a new season and jotting down the ai levels.
